What's a poet to do?

Venues: Workshops and Readings in the Inland Empire
At the end of this school year a student contacted me and wanted to know about poetry venues she could visit. I ended up sending her a long detailed text. I then realized that she probably isn't the only person or student that wanted this information.
So, I decided to write it in a blog post, but then to also have it on the schedule and home page of this website. If I failed to include a reading or have misinformation, please let me know.

Such a tribute to you that your student wants to pursue this right out there in public! Btw, Vieve is only one of the hosts; we typically credit all four members of the steering committee: Lucia Galloway; Fran McConnel, Karen Greenbaum-Maya, and of course Genevieve Kaplan.
